JP Pedinielli
Founder & Managing Partner
I founded this firm to provide clients with independent, tax-focused wealth management—the kind of guidance that helps you make confident, informed financial decisions and keep more of what you've worked so hard to earn.
For over 25 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of investing, tax strategy, and personal financial planning. My career as a portfolio manager, tax and financial advisor, and trader gives me a deep, integrated understanding of how all the pieces of your financial life fit together. I have seen firsthand how much value was often lost to investment inefficiencies and unnecessary taxes, and I built this firm to change that story for every client.
My Approach
As a fee-only fiduciary, my work is grounded in transparency, alignment, and trust. I take a rigorous, tax-focused approach to both investment management and financial planning. I partner with you to design strategies that maximize after-tax returns, minimize lifetime tax exposure, and simplify complex financial decisions.
I believe that financial success comes from clarity, proactive planning, and strong relationships—not from chasing markets or the next “hot” trend. Every client relationship starts with understanding your goals, your current tax picture, and the life you want your wealth to support.
Key areas of my practice include:
- Tax Planning & Mitigation: Strategies to lower your lifetime tax liability and help you avoid the “tax bomb” of large retirement balances.
- Goal-Oriented Investment Management: Designing and managing a comprehensive, long-term portfolio based strictly on your personal needs and risk tolerance.
- Retirement Income Planning: Efficient, predictable income strategies, including Social Security optimization and comprehensive Roth conversion analysis to reduce long-term tax exposure.
- Qualified Plan Guidance: Expertise in 401(k)/IRA investment selection, rollovers, and employment transition strategies.
Background & Life Outside Work
I hold a Master’s in Finance and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Denver, providing the advanced analytical foundation for my tax-focused investment approach.
Originally from Florida, I brought my love of boating to the Pacific Northwest, where I now live with my wife and four children (two in elementary school, two at Gonzaga University). We spend as much time as possible exploring the San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands. Being out on the water reminds me what financial planning is really about: creating the freedom and peace of mind to enjoy what matters most.
